Samsung will have a dual-screen smartphone with technology that looks like it's in the movies?

If you often watch sci-fi titles, you will easily come across utopian smartphones such as the transparent screen smartphone that Tony Stark often uses in the movie series Avenger, Iron Man,... Technology That seems to be only in the movie, but Samsung is expected to have a smartphone with a transparent dual screen in the near future.

Samsung's recent patent application, spotted at WIPO (World Intellectual Property Office), describes a smartphone with a seemingly transparent dual-screen design.

A few years ago, ZTE also tested a similar smartphone before releasing the Nubia X and Nubia Z20. However, this device does not use a fully transparent display.

Instead, the company uses a rear glass with higher transparency, when the screen is on, users can see it transparently. At its most basic level, ZTE's old technology is comparable to the outermost display of the Galaxy Z Flip4 .

In contrast, Samsung's recent patent application describes a device equipped with a transparent display that appears to be fully or partially open (like the Always-on-Display).

This screen can be used to showcase logos, announcements, and more, and the customization possibilities are seemingly endless.

The patent application is real, which means that Samsung engineers have at least been conducting research and development on this technology.

Whether a patented technology turns into a real product, however, is another matter. Samsung has a lot of patents that will never come to fruition and this could be one of them.

All in all, this patent application could provide a glimpse into the future of Samsung displays for certain mobile devices. Let's continuously update and monitor the latest information about this product at here .
