FCC certification confirms S23 Ultra supports S-Pen and many other notable devices!

Samsung  is preparing to launch its  flagship phone  Samsung Galaxy S23. Rumor has it that the launch will take place in early February. This product line will include three devices:  Galaxy S23 ,  Galaxy S23+  and S23 Ultra. Now,  the Galaxy S23 Ultra  has appeared on the FCC database with some key product information.

The FCC certification reveals details about the model number SM-S918B/DS we know as the Galaxy S23 Ultra.

According to the listing, the next-generation Samsung Galaxy flagship will have a 4,855 mAh battery with model number EB-BS918BY. Support for 25 W fast charging is also shown in the FCC listing. But since  the Galaxy S22 Ultra  already supports 45W fast charging, we can predict that the future Ultra model will also have a similar charging capacity.

The FCC site also revealed that this flagship will support the same S-Pen as its predecessor. For those who don't know, Samsung has extended S-Pen compatibility to Ultra versions from the Galaxy S21 series.

However, the Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra model does not have an S-pen slot. Similar to the Note series smartphones, Samsung was able to design the S-Pen pen slot inside the Galaxy S22 Ultra. The S23 Ultra is also expected to have a slot for the S-Pen.

Last but not least, the device will have support for wireless charging as well as wireless reverse charging.
