What is WVA technology?
WVA (Wide Viewing Angle) is a screen technology that expands the viewing angle up to 178 degrees, keeping the center of the screen unchanged, ensuring that all viewing angles are the same and there is no contrast. Therefore, you can sit in many different angles, but the quality is still like sitting in the front. For conventional monitors, you only get the best quality when looking straight at 90 degrees.

Cone angle
When monitors are equipped with this technology, the widening screen angle is usually understood as a cone, extending a maximum angle from the center of the image on the screen.
In degrees, monitors equipped with WVA technology will have a viewing angle of 45 - 70 degrees left, right, up and down from the center. Viewing the above screens will give a larger viewing angle, but the image is completely kept as if it were sitting in the front, there is no image inversion, color change or darkening of the image.
Gray screen
The gray bars have gray levels G0 (black) to G255 (white). Theoretically, the higher the gray level, the higher the brightness. However, you can see the low gray level brighter than the high gray level in some corners at the edge of the screen and that is called gray scale inversion.
Therefore, when you look at the LCD screen from a large angle, you cannot see the original color, even only white or black can be seen.
Gray Inversion
For color displays, "twisted nematic" (TN) liquid crystals are by far the most common. TN technology has been widely used in display devices in this industry.
However, the disadvantages of the TN-LCD type are its narrow viewing angle and poor grayscale inversion. But these manufacturers still have solutions to overcome grayscale inversion such as: adjusting voltage, adjusting contrast, changing LCD screen design and using better polarizers to change. display modes.

Advantages
Easily see images with color, images from any angle.
Brightness and contrast at different viewing angles are good.
The ability to reproduce true colors is high, dead angles are limited to the lowest level.
Defect
- Consumes more power than other technologies, especially TN screen technology.
- Panels that support WVA technology cost more than TN panels.
- Since the viewing angles are clearly visible, it is not suitable if you need a screen with high security, only visible when facing the front.
