Elon Musk recently caused a stir in the tech community when he hinted that he might be involved in the production of smartphones.
Accordingly, this American billionaire may plan to introduce a new Tesla phone in the future to compete with Google and Apple.
Reportedly, Elon Musk's Twitter post reads: " I certainly don't expect this to happen. But if there is no other option, I will make an alternative phone .” This information was written by him in response to a Twitter post by podcaster user Liz Wheeler: “ If Apple and Google remove Twitter from their app stores, @elonmusk should make its own smartphone. The man who built the rocket that flew to Mars, [manufacturing] a tiny smartphone is easy, right? "
Right now, though, we don't see any sign of Apple or Google banning the Twitter platform on their App Store or Play Store. But even if this happens users can still get the app on Android or it can be found on third party app stores like amazon.
If Elon Musk is indeed planning to launch a Tesla Phone in the future then we can expect him to create a dedicated unit for his mobile/wireless business. Let's wait and see!
