Now you can 'surf' slideshows like TikTok and Reels on PowerPoint

Recently, social media users like to "surf" to watch vertical videos like on TikTok, Reels and YouTube Short. Therefore, it is not uncommon for Microsoft to follow this trend when the company recently launched a test version of the vertical view or slide creation of the PowerPoint application on iOS.

This mode called "Portrait mode" is currently only available to iPad and iPhone users who have joined Microsoft's Office Insider program. The Verge also said that it is not clear when this feature will be released on the Android operating system.

The company also says that the feature is inspired by the trend that "users are increasingly interested in content creation on mobile devices". If you are a member of the Office Insider program and are using supported iOS devices, you can update your PowerPoint to version 2.68 to use this feature.

Users can switch between landscape and portrait orientation by going to the Design option from the Home tab, then selecting Orientation to suit the device you are using with a landscape or portrait screen.

How do you feel about this new PowerPoint feature?
