Samsung will launch a support application for users who like to repair smartphones by themselves

Self-repairing smartphones or simply users who like to poke around and discover devices is no longer strange in the technology world. Recently, a new trademark registration document filed by Samsung revealed the company's future plans, including the Self - Repair program . !

Judging by the filing, Samsung appears to be working on a new mobile app called "Self Repair Assistant". The app icon (logo) shown in Samsung's trademark application has a stylized cogwheel with a wrench on a blue background.

Samsung launched its "Self Repair" program in the United States this summer. The main idea of the program is to allow Galaxy device users in the United States to buy phone parts and tools for home and repair the devices themselves.

In addition, Samsung also introduced the "Self-repair" program in cooperation with iFixit not long ago. According to the description, the "Self-Repair Assistant" application is a computer and mobile application software, and this software can help users maintain and repair  smart watches , tablets , smartphones and  headphones .

At the same time, the application also provides consulting services and information related to self-installation and self-repair according to different types of equipment.

In simple terms, Samsung may be developing a mobile application that will allow "Self Repair" customers to get more information and guidance on how they repair their Samsung mobile devices.

Instead of users having to visit the iFixit website, Samsung can provide instructions and other useful information through a dedicated mobile app called "Self-Repair Assistant".

At launch, Samsung's Self-Repair program was only available to a handful of devices, including the Galaxy S20 series, the Galaxy S21 trio, and the Galaxy Tab S7+ .

The above product lines are so far the only devices included in the self-repair program, perhaps the dedicated Self-Repair Assistant app will expand the list of Samsung devices that users can manually repair. home repairs in the near future.
