All eyes are on Samsung 's next flagship smartphone launch event . There have been countless rumors and reports regarding the Galaxy S23 series . A new report recently provided some more details on the timing of the lineup's launch event.
Samsung is said to hold an official Unpacked event to launch the Galaxy S23 in San Francisco. This will be the first live event since the pandemic halt.
Korean media reported, citing an executive from Samsung Electronics, that the Unpacked Galaxy S23 event will take place in early February 2023. Before that, Samsung's last live Unpacked event was for the Galaxy S20 series in San Francisco.
The source did not provide an exact date but other reports mentioned that the event could take place in the first week of February. The Galaxy S22 series was launched on February 9, 2022, so the possibility is " successor" was also released in the same timeframe.
Unpacked events have been held online after the pandemic hit in 2020. The company has held a number of in-person sessions for the Galaxy Z Fold4 and Galaxy Z Flip4 but has yet to return to in-person Unpacked events official.
With travel restrictions no longer a concern, perhaps it's time for Samsung to restart its epic product launches.
