As you scroll through Instagram Stories, if you thought you might not be interested in someone's content, you can now scroll through it quickly with this new feature. Stories is one of Meta's most successful features, so it's only natural that they always optimize this feature.
Previously, when you posted Stories that were about 1 minute long, Instagram would break this content into 3 parts. This makes users uncomfortable when they have to be exposed to content they do not like up to 3 times.
Users can destroy their followers by posting a variety of content that makes these "Stories" not easy to ignore. Therefore, the feature that allows to avoid spam Stories accounts is expected by many people.
With the latest update of Instagram, the maximum length of Stories has been increased to 60 seconds. Previously, with each Story longer than 15 seconds, the content would be broken down into a 15-second clip sequence.
As a result, videos longer than 1 minute can be viewed or skipped in one run. This is just one of Meta's efforts to increase the average length of Stories on their own platform.
