TSAIK recently set a world record on Cinebench R23, by overclocking the Ryzen Threadripper Pro 5995WX CPU up to 5.15 GHz on liquid nitrogen. The Threadripper system scored a whopping 116,142 points, 10% higher than the previous record.
This is a testament to AMD's IPC improvements on the Zen 3 architecture, including unified L3 caching per CCD and improvements to the cores themselves, providing a 19% IPC improvement over Zen 2. , which is the architecture that the Ryzen Threadripper 3990X uses and for the previous record number.
The Ryzen Threadripper Pro 5000 WX-series is AMD's new generation of workstation processors. These chips have the same core configuration as their predecessors, but feature AMD's newer Zen 3 architecture and have slightly higher clock speeds. According to previous tests, these chips can be 20% faster than Threadripper 3000 chips depending on the application.

To achieve this world record score, TSAIK used an MSI WS WRX80 motherboard with all eight DIMM slots equipped with 128 GB Corsair Vengeance DDR4 RAM. This memory is configured as CL14-14-14-32 operating at 3200 MT/s.
